The Contracts and Grants Coordinator, serves as an ex-officio member. The Office of Research serves as liaison between applicants and the committee, which recommends awards to the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs. The committee meets several times during the academic year to evaluate proposals. Each Fall it circulates copies of its policies and procedures, and each spring it publishes an annual report.
