Ireland 2023

$3200 (plus six credits) includes airfare, travel in Ireland, museums, tours, housing, daily breakfast, some other meals. Fees may vary slightly as final arrangements are made.

Applications are due December 1, 2022 and a non-refundable deposit of $300 is due December 16, 2022. Balance must be paid in full or by commitment from Financial Aid by April 28, 2023.

During Summer Session 1, students will take two IU South Bend courses fulfilling general education common core requirements

  • ENG-T 190/T390 Literary and Intellectual Traditions; VT Everyone's Irish | focus is on Ireland’s celebrated literary culture and divisive history, including the migration of many Irish to the United States
  • POLS-B 399 Human Behavior and Social Institutions; VT Urban Politics and Policy | students will explore the impact of globalization on Ireland’s largest cities and their residents
  • This program can accommodate 15 students.
  • Preference will be given on a first come, first served basis.
  • Reserve a spot with an early deposit.
  • All students must be registered IU students with a minimum of sophomore credit status in good standing with a minimum 2.75 GPA.
