Online Classes at IU South Bend
As a student at IU South Bend you always have the option to take classes online. Hundreds of classes in disciplines ranging from business and health science to informatics are offered online every semester.
You can also choose hybrid classes—classes that have both an online and campus-based component.

Quality of Online Programs
Indiana University closely follows the Interregional Guidelines for the Evaluation of Distance Education Programs developed by the Council of Regional Accrediting Commissions (C-RAC). IU strives to exemplify the Nine Hallmarks of Quality promulgated by these guidelines. Additionally, IU adheres to the Quality Matters framework for distance education and provides Quality Matters training and resources to its distance education instructors.
