Travel to Italy with your camera and professor Susan Moore. Students reside in Florence, taking excursions to Venice, Rome and Siena. In this four week workshop students will earn 6 credits in Fine Arts and study art and photography in Florence, Italy the heart of the Italian Renaissance. Students work digitally. Cameras can be provided and no photo experience is necessary. Classes will be held four days a week with photo opportunities planned for each day. Three-day weekends allow for travel in Italy. The focus of the workshop will be developing camera skills for students at any level, along side a study of historical and contemporary art in Italy.
Open to all majors and all skill levels.
Students will enroll in FINA-A 399 Art Aesthetics and Creativity and FINA-S 497 Independent Study.
