120 credit hours
Students must be accepted into the BSW Program before they can take 300-level social work courses. To apply to the BSW Program, they must have completed Introduction to Social Work or the equivalent with a C or higher. To be fully admitted into the BSW program, they must have completed 12 credits and have at least an overall GPA of 2.5. Students with a GPA lower than 2.5 could be conditionally admitted. To be eligible for TSAP students must have earned an Associate Degree in Human Service from an Indiana state institution.
To graduate, students need the following:
- 120 credit hours
- Earn a cumulative GPA of 2.5; Social Work GPA of 2.5
- Students must earn at least "C" in each social work core course.
Students must take the following Social Work support courses:
- Public Speaking, Modern American History II, Introduction to American Politics, and Human Biological Science, General Psychology, Principles of Sociology, SWK-S 204 Writing in Professional Social Work, 300–level Social Work Elective or a 300–level Psychology or Sociology Course
