The review of Certificate programs should in general be included as part of an overall Academic Program Review. Certificates must have an explicit section in the program self-study. In cases where this isn’t feasible, a certificate program may be reviewed separately. This will require a separate self-study.
The review of certificates should parallel the process approved for program reviews and must be completed every five to seven years. The reviews of certificate programs outside of the Academic Program Review will be conducted by the Dean’s Office and Academic Affairs.
